Soludo Inaugurates General Hospital in Anaku,Receives Unanimous Endorsement

Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, on Thursday inaugurated the Solution General Hospital, Anaku, in Ayamelum Local Government Area of the state.
According to a statement released on Friday by the Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Christian Aburime, the commissioning of the new healthcare facility marks a significant milestone for the people of Ayamelum, a community that has long lacked access to such essential medical infrastructure.
The statement noted that the newly established General Hospital has already begun delivering vital medical services to residents of Ayamelum and its neighboring communities,an achievement that significantly enhances healthcare accessibility for an area previously underserved in this regard.
Governor Soludo, who was received by the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Afam Obidike, alongside traditional rulers, community leaders, and residents, emphasized the hospital’s importance in improving health outcomes and addressing critical healthcare challenges within the local government area.
He described the commissioning of the hospital as a historic moment, affirming that the facility is strategically designed to serve as a secondary referral center, providing essential services not only to Ayamelum but also to surrounding localities.
“This hospital will not only address the healthcare needs of our people but also elevate the quality of medical services available in the region,”— Soludo
Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to human capital development, particularly in health and education, Soludo expressed confidence that the hospital will have a transformative impact on the community.
“By providing essential medical services, we are taking a major step toward improving overall health outcomes for everyone in Ayamelum,”he added.
The Governor also welcomed sixty-five newly recruited staff of the hospital, congratulating them for their dedication to the noble calling of healthcare service.
“Your work here is instrumental in enhancing the well-being of this community. Health workers are the backbone of our healthcare system, and your commitment will make a lasting difference in the lives of our people,”-he stated.
Governor Soludo further revealed that four successful surgeries had already been performed at the facility since its opening, a testament to its operational readiness and the expertise of its medical team.
Ayamelum Declares Total Support for Soludo’s Second Term
In a strong demonstration of solidarity, the people of Ayamelum Local Government Area—who gathered in large numbers at Anaku—openly endorsed Governor Soludo for a second term in office, citing his visionary leadership and people-centered governance.
