Anambra First Lady Urges Christians to Show Love and Kindness This Easter

The First Lady of Anambra State, Dr. Mrs. Nonye Soludo, has called on Christians to love one another and extend kindness to those in need.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Mrs. Soludo emphasized the importance of finding fulfilment in acts of compassion and generosity toward others.

She said:

“Today, Christ’s unconditional love for mankind and the world is renewed as we commemorate His glorious resurrection and eternal victory over death.

“God has once again called us to love one another and to always remember that the light of true love conquers all.

“Wherever you are celebrating today, remember the people around you. Seek fulfilment in extending a hand of kindness to someone who needs it. Do not celebrate alone—give and share, no matter how little. What truly matters is not how much you give, but the love with which you give it.

“Let someone smile today because you showed them, even in the smallest way, the significance of Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary for humanity’s redemption. Let your light of love illuminate lives, bringing genuine smiles and deep fulfilment to others.”

She further noted that the resurrection of Christ signifies the fulfilment of God’s promise of life and salvation for His creation.

“May the light and grace of His resurrection abide in our families, communities, and our dear state, Anambra. Enjoy the holiday, and remember to stay safe, healthy, and happy.

“May God bless you all. Happy Easter.”
