CMO Iba Pope at 40: Luise Nworah Bags Nna Di Orama

Catholic Men Organization (CMO) of SS John and Paul Iba Pope Awada in Idemili North local government area of Anambra State have awarded Nna-di orama title to Chief Sir. Louis Nworah in recognition for his effort towards the progress of the organization in their Parish.

Chief Sir Luise Nworah popularly known as “Umeakuli” is a native of Osumenyi in Nnewi South local government area of Anambra. He is a committed member and one of the pioneer members of Catholic Men Organization (CMO) of  SS John and Paul Iba Pope Awada.

The award presentation took place at SS John and Paul premises shortly after the Holy Mass to mark 40th anniversary ceremony of CMO existence in their Parish.

Speaking with journalists, Chief Sir Nworah revealed that several awards have been bestowed on him ranging from Patron, Grand Patron and recently, Nna-di orama respectively.

He further expressed that he was delighted for the award, describing it as  call to serve God in the Church and a motivation for more work.

“This honour to me is a call to serve God and humanity and it is not the first honour that has bestowed to me. However, whom more is given, much is expected, I will continue to serve God through CMO. One thing is that, I don’t have money but, I derive joy in working for God especially in the Church” Chief Sir, Nworah stated.

He urged wealthy individuals to endeavour to serve God with their resources, contribute to the Church development just as he advised C.M.O members who have not been enrolled in the organization to register.

The Secretary general of the Organization, Mr. Christian Eluka in  the address of welcome revealed that few people started C. M. O meeting in their Parish in the year 1986 which included; Sir. John Uluhu, Sir. Boniface Madubuike Chief Sir. Edwin Udo, and Sir. Kelvin Alisigwe.

Eluka therefore explained that the major challenge of the organization is to inspire and engage younger men so that the legacies of the organization should be sustained 

He equally requested sume of Fifty Million Naira (#50,000,000) for procurement of Evangelical mission Bus for the organization.

Other award recipient included; High Chief Innocent Nzubechukwu, Hon. Lynda Ikpeazu, High Chief Val. Ozigbo, Chief Esotu Emeka and others.

The event also featured installation of grand patron, Patrons and CMO ambassadors.
