London Town Hall Clash: Obigwe Brands Chido A.A. ‘Incurable Madman’
Chinedu Obigwe
A chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Mr. Chinedu Obigwe, has described a content creator identified as Chido A.A. as an “incurable lunatic” who needs help.
Obigwe, who is the National Coordinator of the APGA Media Warriors Forum, also accused Chido of being mischievous.
He made these remarks in a statement while reacting to a viral video in which Chido A.A. narrated a story purportedly arising from a recent town hall meeting in London, where Governor Chukwuma Soludo met with some Anambra indigenes.
Obigwe alleged that Chido A.A., the convener of the activist group “Hungry and Angry,” repeated the same behavior he exhibited during a similar event in 2025.
He again dismissed him as an “incurable lunatic” in dire need of help.
According to Obigwe, there have been previous attempts to portray Governor Soludo as arrogant, but such efforts have failed.
He stated that the governor has no tolerance for what he described as “foolishness.”
He further described Soludo as a jovial, down-to-earth leader who does not entertain frivolity or waste time on unserious individuals.
Obigwe also accused Chido of attempting to downplay the achievements of Soludo’s administration.
He warned that such actions would not be tolerated in Anambra State, suggesting that beneficiaries of the administration’s projects—especially road infrastructure—would strongly resist such narratives.
He commended the organizers of the London town hall meeting, particularly praising the security arrangements, which he described as top-notch.
“One thing about Governor Soludo is that you cannot exhibit madness in his presence.
I was very happy to see His Honour, Ernest Ezeajughi, in his true form in that video.
The foolish Chido A.A., who is the convener of Hungry and Angry people in London, and his cohorts were given the treatment they deserved at that event,” he said.
Obigwe explained that Soludo’s project priorities were shaped by the passionate appeals of Anambra people during the 2021 electioneering campaign, particularly due to the deplorable state of roads at the time.
He added that the “state of emergency” declared on Anambra roads has begun to yield visible results.
“What the people of the state are currently witnessing are the resultant effects of that intervention.
Anybody making a foolish attempt to downplay Soludo’s massive road construction risks being rejected by Anambra people, who are the direct beneficiaries of these projects.
The best thing that has happened to Anambra people since the creation of our state is Soludo.
The people of our state will continue to support him to ensure the completion of the good work his administration is doing,” he said.
