UNIZIK Calls for Applications into JUPEB Programme

Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, has called for applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The programme, which leads to the award of a JUPEB Certificate, enables candidates to gain Direct Entry admission into Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, and other JUPEB-affiliated universities in Nigeria and abroad.

According to a statement signed by the University’s Registrar, Dr. Chinyere Gloria Okeke, eligible candidates must possess a minimum of five credit passes, including English Language, obtained in not more than two sittings in subjects relevant to their intended course of study.

The programme runs for one academic session, comprising two semesters.

Candidates are advised to note that the listed subject combinations satisfy the admission requirements, where applicable, for degree programmes in the Sciences, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, and Arts in all JUPEB-affiliated universities in Nigeria, including Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

Applicants are required to visit apply.jupeb.unizik.edu.ng and follow the application instructions provided on the portal.

Candidates applying for the 2026/2027 JUPEB Programme are also advised to check the website regularly for updates on their admission status and other relevant information.

All candidates are required to register for the 2027 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Direct Entry during the course of the programme.

The statement further noted that application forms must be completed and submitted online immediately after accessing the portal or within two weeks of doing so. Downloaded or printed copies of application forms will not be accepted.

Applicants are advised to carefully follow all application instructions and ensure that they select the correct subject combinations, as any error in this regard may adversely affect their admission prospects.
