Prof Gregory Ibe to Bury Late Mother in Abia on May 1

The 2023 governorship candidate in Abia State under the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Prof. Gregory Ibe, will on Friday, May 1, 2026, bury his beloved  mother, Late Ugoeze Margaret Ibe in Amaokwe Achara, Uturu.

Ugoeze Margaret Ibe passed away on March 8 at the age of 81.

 She is survived by many  children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Prof. Gregory Ibe, founder of Gregory University, made this known in a personally signed statement announcing the official burial arrangements for his mother and inviting the general public to attend the funeral rites.

According to the statement, the requiem mass is scheduled to hold on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Gregory University, Uturu, Isuikwuato, in Abia State.

Prof. Ibe,  Enyi Abia, humbly invites the general public to be part of the ceremony, noting that their presence will provide profound comfort to the entire late Eze Cyril Ibe royal family and bring solace to the grieving people of Amaokwe-Achara Autonomous Community in Uturu, Isuikwuato, Abia State.
