GIGM Opens Ekwulobia Terminal, Expands Inter-State Transport Network

GIG Mobility (GIGM) has expanded its operations with the inauguration of a new passenger terminal in Ekwulobia, Anambra State, reinforcing its commitment to improving inter-state connectivity and extending its technology-driven transport services to more communities across Nigeria.
The newly opened terminal, strategically located at Solution Park in Ekwulobia, is expected to serve passengers travelling from the commercial town and surrounding communities to major destinations nationwide, providing greater convenience and improved access to reliable road transportation.
With the addition of the Ekwulobia terminal, passengers can now access GIGM’s extensive route network connecting key cities and commercial hubs across the country. The available destinations include Lagos locations such as Ajah, Iyana Ipaja, FESTAC and Jibowu; the Federal Capital Territory and North-Central destinations including Utako, Kubwa, Maraba and Lokoja; as well as major cities in the South-East and South-South regions, including Enugu, Nsukka, Asaba, Benin and Port Harcourt.
According to the company, the expansion aligns with its broader strategy of strengthening its nationwide transport network while increasing access to safe, reliable and technology-enabled travel solutions for passengers. The new terminal is also expected to enhance regional mobility, improve travel convenience and support economic activities by providing seamless connections between Ekwulobia and other major cities across Nigeria.
Commenting on the development, the Chief Executive Officer of GIGM, Dr. Enahoro Okhae, said the Ekwulobia terminal reflects the company’s continued investment in improving the passenger travel experience.
